A cornerstone ceremony was held on September 20 for the new shopping centre in Narva, Kangelaste tee 29.
The design and construction contract for the new PRISMA hypermarket in Narva was signed by AS Oma Ehitaja and a Finnish real estate development company already in the beginning of this year. Thus far the necessary detail and construction project for constructing the centre was being put together, headed by Oma Ehitaja. On the 18th of August, Narva city administration decided to issue a build permit for the centre and with it construction works on site will start immediately.
According to the contract, the new shopping centre has to be completed by next fall, at which time the first PRISMA family market outside Tallinn will open in the centre.
The new centre will have a general area of 13 200 m2, of which sales area will form approximately 9 000 m2.
