On the 14th February, the freshly renovated Maarjamäe castle was ceremonially opened.
The President of the Republic of Estonia, Kersti Kaljulaid, also took part in the ceremonial opening of the History Museum.
A grand exhibition “My free country” awaits visitors to the museum at Maarjamäe castle, to take them on an exciting journey from the birth of the Republic of Estonia to the present day. Hands-on activities allow visitors to take part in every era of history themselves.
“The Republic of Children” awaits children in the museum. This playful learning environment certainly offers many interesting moments for the little ones but also for slightly bigger history lovers.
