On April 7th 2009, RE Eesti Kontsert and AS Oma Ehitaja signed a build contract for the reconstruction\u00a0of an\u00a0apartment building into a guesthouse of Eesti Kontsert, on Oru str. 10, Tallinn.<\/p>\n
The apartment building was originally built in the 1950s for\u00a0the composer and choir master Gustav Ernesaks. According to the contract, the building will be reconstructed and the surrounding\u00a0ground will be spruced up, while preserving the cosines and original design that was characteristic to the owner and that era. Interior decoration will retain characteristics\u00a0of the era while mixing with ethnical interior elements. After completion the building will also house a department of the Estonian Music Museum and\u00a0the exhibits on display should convey the presence of the Estonian song leader.<\/p>\n
Construction project is designed by architects Luhse\u00a0 &*** Tuhal O\u00dc, author of interior design is Mareliis Raid.<\/p>\n
